IN THE NEWS

The newspaper was actually interesting this morning.

The first synthetic cell was created. ok i am not a big science buff but this seems from a scientic point of view amazing. A cell is a living, self replicating species. Obviously its a slippery slope, creating "new life". I think the altruistic possibilities are exciting. Hmmm what do you think?

123 MILLION dollars in art is stolen from a Paris museum. I actually kept chuckling when I read this. I kept thinking. "BOND, James Bond." The alarm wasnt working so people came in and took a Picasso, a Matisse and "three others". In a way I think its cool.

THEN, Floyd Landis ADMITS to doping. Duh. And to deflect he points to Armstrong. Well what ever Lance is doing its none of your business Landis. Deal with your own issues.

Now for my life: I have a trip to Lowes planned for after naps. We are going to plant some flower seeds to watch them grow:-) Watch out Martha here I come.

Have a great day!

Craig Venter is heading this project so this is probably going near you?

There's probably many others close behind with the same goal. It sounds like it's not an easy process at this point to build the little suckers so I guess I'm not too worried about safety - yet.

Maybe he can create something that likes to dine on crude oil, poos out fresh air and the fish love to eat?
